The United Progressive Party (UPP) has been granted permission to hold its rescheduled island-wide motorcade calling for an independent investigation into what it terms the “Vehicle-Gate” scandal.
The event is now set for Sunday, November 16, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. from Rising Sun Field, next to the Old Parliament Building.
The protest, themed “Only an Independent Investigation Will Do,” will demand a probe into alleged irregularities surrounding government vehicle procurement.
