The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment is pleased to announce the official launch of Tourism Week 2025, taking place from November 22 to 29, 2025, under the theme, “Our People, Our Culture, Our Environment in full thrive; Tourism Week 2025”.

Held annually to signal the start of the Winter Tourism Season, Tourism Week serves as a time for reflection, celebration, and renewed commitment to the development of Antigua and Barbuda’s leading industry. This year’s theme underscores the vital connection between the nation’s citizens, its vibrant cultural heritage, and the pristine natural environment, all working together in harmony to drive a sustainable and thriving tourism industry.

According to the Hon. Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment, “At the heart of Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism success is our people — the stewards of our culture, the guardians of our environment, and the ambassadors of our warm hospitality. Tourism Week 2025 gives us a chance to honour their contribution and reaffirm our shared commitment to building a tourism industry that uplifts communities and celebrates who we are as a nation.”

The week-long celebration will bring together tourism stakeholders, community partners, and the general public through a series of events designed to promote wellness, service excellence, education, and national pride.

The festivities begin on Saturday, November 22 with the highly anticipated Tourism Blast Off at the Rising Sun Grounds; a day of culinary and cultural showcases that capture the true spirit of Antiguan and Barbudan hospitality.

Throughout the week, activities will include a Service of Thanksgiving at the Kentish Pentecostal Church on Sunday 23rd, a Charity Day dedicated to giving back to local communities on Tuesday 25th, and Wellness Wednesday on Wednesday 26th, featuring a health fair at the House of Culture and a special fitness edition of Sweat in collaboration with H Wright Promotions at the YMCA. The celebration continues with Know Your Product Day on Thursday 27th, focusing on building industry knowledge and appreciation for the unique experiences that make Antigua and Barbuda a world-class destination.

The week will culminate in grand style on Saturday, November 29, with the prestigious National Tourism Awards Gala held in conjunction with the Antigua Hotels and Tourist Association at the Sandals Grande Antigua, where outstanding individuals and organizations will be recognized for their dedication and contribution to the continued growth and excellence of the nation’s tourism industry.
