Commissioner of Police Congratulates Officers Who Excelled in Their Academic Pursuits*

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Wednesday, October 15, 2025

Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Everton Jeffers, is commending five (5) serving members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda for their outstanding academic achievements.

The officers, Inspector Evette Henry, Senior Sergeant Kerry Zachariah, Sergeant Nekeisha Josiah, Sergeant Renee Roberts, and Corporal Lenia Livingstone, successfully completed their studies at the University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus (UWIFIC), graduating in various disciplines.

Sergeant Nekeisha Josiah graduated with First Class Honours in a Bachelor’s Degree in International Management.

Sergeant Renee Roberts earned Upper Second Class Honours in Business Management, with a concentration in Human Resource Management.

Corporal Lenia Livingstone also graduated with Upper Second Class Honours in Business Management, focusing on Human Resource Management.

Senior Sergeant Kerry Zachariah received Upper Second Class Honours in Management with Psychology.

Inspector Evette Henry earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, concentrating on Human Resource Management, graduating with Upper Second Class Honours.

Commissioner Jeffers expressed great pride in the accomplishments of the officers, noting that their academic success reflects the Force’s ongoing commitment to professional and personal development.

“ These achievements are worthy of commendation and acknowledgement. It tells me that the future of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda looks brighter,” Commissioner Jeffers stated.

He further added, “I take this opportunity to congratulate these officers and encourage others within the Force to emulate their example. Education and continuous learning are essential to improving our service delivery and leadership capacity.”

The Commissioner concluded by reaffirming the Administration’s support for officers who pursue higher education and professional training, emphasizing that such accomplishments not only enhance the individual’s growth but also strengthen the organization’s overall effectiveness in serving the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
