Man Stabbed – A man is recovering at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after allegedly being stabbed during an attempted robbery on Whenner Road on the evening of February 21st, 2026.
Man Stabbed Attempted Robbery
According to reports, the victim had pulled over along Whenner Road at around eight o’clock in the evening when he was allegedly approached by an unknown male armed with a knife, who reportedly demanded that he hand over his belongings.
Reports are that the victim resisted, and a struggle ensued during which the alleged attacker reportedly stabbed him once in the lower abdomen before fleeing the scene. The victim was driving a grey Toyota Corolla at the time of the incident.
He was subsequently transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he received treatment.
