Ahead of International Women’s Day celebrations, Antiguan Human Resource (HR) Leader and Strategist Calisha Spencer has been confirmed as a presenter at the upcoming LOUD26 HR Conference to be held at the Marriott Hotel in St Kitts.
Young Antiguan Trailblazer Present
Spencer, known for her progressive and people-centered approach to Human Resource Management, will deliver a dynamic presentation entitled “One Size No Longer Fits All”, challenging traditional workplace models and advocating for adaptive, inclusive, and strategic HR practices across the Caribbean.
With extensive expertise in HR Law, Labour Relations, Project Management, and Organizational Development, Spencer has built a reputation as a transformational leader within Antigua and Barbuda’s professional landscape.
She also currently serves as a Hospitality Professional, and a Director assigned to the Prison Board of Antigua and Barbuda, where she contributes as a Rehabilitation and Re-Entry Advisor, helping to strengthen institutional reform and second-chance opportunities.
Her career spans senior HR leadership roles where she has led complex workforce initiatives, managed employee relations matters, and championed fair labour practices. As a strong advocate for structured governance, policy development and leadership accountability, Spencer continues to influence workplace culture at both corporate and national levels.
LOUD26, hosted by the Caribbean Society for Human Resource Professionals (CSHRP), brings together regional HR leaders to explore innovative strategies shaping the future of work. Spencer’s selection as a presenter places Antigua and Barbuda on the regional stage and reinforces the growing influence of young Caribbean women in leadership.
Her participation stands as a testament to the evolving face of Human Resources — strategic, legally grounded, socially conscious and boldly transformative.
The conference will run from May 28th to 30th, 2026.
