Worker Hospitalized – A construction worker is reportedly recovering in hospital after allegedly being wounded during an altercation at a worksite in Barbuda on Wednesday afternoon.
Worker Hospitalized After Alleged
According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m., when there was a disagreement between two workers on the job site and one worker was struck on the left side of his face with a stone.
Shortly after the incident, officers who responded from the Barbuda Police Station interviewed the injured worker, who allegedly identified a fellow worker as the individual responsible for the attack.
The injured worker was subsequently taken to the Hanna Thomas Hospital, where he was treated for a bleeding wound to the left side of his face. The report further indicated that the attending physician administered seven stitches to the worker who was then admitted for observation.
