Playing in the feature game of a double-header, Da Project completed a two-game sweep of Elite Stingerz with a 78-73 triumph at the JSC basketball complex.

Stingerz, after losing game one by a single point, started strong by outscoring the opponents 17-12 in the first quarter. However, the tides turned in the other three quarters with Da Project taking the other three quarters 28-22, 17-15 and 21-19.

Malik Moore led the scoring for Da Project with 22 points while also grabbing eight rebounds. Terry Dawkins contributed with 20 points and six rebounds while Sadiq Phillip and T-Shawn Lewis had 13 and 11 points respectively. In Sunday’s opening contest, defending champions Flyers made light work of Ottos to also win their series by a two-nil margin following a 97-64 game-two triumph. Flyers dominated the contest from start to finish, winning all four quarters 28-18, 15-11, 26-19 and 28-16, respectively.
