in News

A customer has told Antigua News Room that the Bargain Center Supermarket had to be “evacuated” last night.

The individual reported that “someone sprayed something in the Air Conditioning vent” resulting in the early closure of the business.

“Everybody had to run out of the building,” the customer said.

He said he saw people with “teary eyes” while other were “coughing”.

When contacted an official of the supermarket said she did not have the information at the time and would provide more information as the facts become known.

Antigua News Room will report additional details once it comes to hand.
