Digicel working to restore service

September 20, 2017
in News

Digicel  says it is experiencing some network issues due to torrential rain and high winds across Antigua, as a result of the passing of Maria, swiftly on the heels of Hurricane Irma.

These issues are confined to some sections of the country.

Digicel says its technical team is working tirelessly on the issues and hope to have them resolved in the shortest time possible.

While service is available in most areas, Digicel will continue to monitor the overall network performance at all
times.

Digicel would also further urge everyone to again review their hurricane preparedness plan, as we are still in the midst of the Hurricane season. Digicel will also continue to partner with the government and other agencies on the relief and recovery efforts that are ongoing for Irma, and now Maria.
