Police are investigating two wounding incidents stemming from a dispute at a private residence in the Gray’s Farm area.
According to reports, a woman sustained a head injury during an altercation with a man known to her, reportedly over a dispute about occupancy of the house. The woman told police she was grabbed by the throat during an argument and used a baseball bat to defend herself.
Investigators said the man later returned with a cutlass and allegedly struck her in the head. Police subsequently located the man, who also had a head injury that he said was inflicted during the earlier confrontation.
Both individuals were treated for bleeding wounds after being transported to hospital by emergency services. Investigations are continuing.
