Staff of the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment surprised the Honourable H. Charles “Max” Fernandez, Parliamentary Representative and Minister, with a heartfelt birthday celebration at his office earlier today.
The surprise gesture was coordinated by the Ministry’s Staff Social Club, led by Ms. Onesha Elvin, and included birthday gifts, balloons, and a joyful rendition of the birthday song, much to the Minister’s delight.
Clearly touched by the thoughtful gesture, Minister Fernandez expressed sincere appreciation to the staff, noting not only the kindness of the celebration but the care taken in selecting gifts that reflected his personal interests.
“I am truly grateful for this gesture,” Minister Fernandez said. “What touched me most was not just the gifts, but the thought and effort that went into choosing something you knew I would genuinely enjoy. It speaks volumes about the camaraderie and spirit of this team.”
