Branch Office Burglarized; Police Launch Investigation

November 15, 2025
in News, Sport

Police are investigating a break-in at a political branch office on Federation Road after burglars forced their way into the building and made off with several items.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 11 November, and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, 12 November 2025. According to the office secretary, the building was properly secured the previous afternoon but was found broken into when staff returned the next morning.

Police say the intruder or intruders used a hard implement to pry open an eastern door before entering the office. A laptop, a composition book, and two AAA batteries were reported stolen. The total value of the items has not yet been determined.

A search of the surrounding area yielded no suspects, and forensic officers have been called in to process the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
