An accident near the Police Recreation Ground on Factory Road has left one man hospitalised.
The accident occurred about 10 p.m on Friday night.
According to reports, a vehicle was overtaking and the driver of an incoming vehicle who pulled away to avoid a head-on collision veered off road and hit a tree.
Emergency Medical Services responded and the man is being treated in hospital for a number of injuries.
