The ¾ inch of rain which fell on Antigua so far today has caused damage to two properties in Blue Waters.
Huge chunks of a concrete wall were undermined by the rain causing it to fall apart.
According to reports, the water from that event escaped causing a nearby property to flood.
Officials from the Development Control Authority and other government agencies were on hand to assess the damage.
Heavy equipment was quickly called in to stabilise the area and prevent further deterioration of the wall.
A flash flood warning is in effect until midnight.
The met office says an additional 1-2 inches of rain is expected until that time.
