Her research, particularly in turning sargassum into renewable energy sources and
other value-added products, connects powerfully to the direction in which Antigua and Barbuda must move. While her achievement is not agricultural in the traditional sense, it
sits at the frontier where science, environmental stewardship, and agro-processing
meet. This is the kind of thinking that will help us transform challenges into industries,
and natural resources into opportunities.
