Murder accused ex-cop dies in hospital after refusing food

According to reports reaching Antigua News Room, Kensworth Browne, an ex-police officer accused of killing his wife has died.

He reportedly died in hospital today after refusing to eat. A court had earlier directed that he be forced to eat.

Browne, 56, has been receiving treatment at the MSJMC since November 24, 2017 after refusing to eat for months.

The former police officer is accused of killing Judith Browne.

The woman was allegedly battered to death in her Swetes home in December 2016.
