Several Persons in Police Custody for Questioning
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Sunday, December 28, 2025
More than a dozen persons have been arrested and taken into police custody for questioning over the Christmas holiday period.
The police executed a number of search warrants across several communities and seized various calibre rounds of ammunition, mobile phones, one 9mm magazine, a ballistic vest, a laptop computer, quantities of United States and Eastern Caribbean currencies, vehicle licence plates, and several items of clothing suspected to be stolen.
Additionally, the police recovered a motor vehicle that was reportedly stolen during a robbery at Cashew Hill.
Investigations into these matters are currently ongoing.
The Police Administration continues to intensify its efforts to combat crime and maintain public safety, and thanks members of the public for their continued cooperation and support.
