A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing into a utility pole along Factory Road, just past Jack Idle, while heading east on Saturday evening.
Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, and the damaged vehicle was removed from the roadway. There is no immediate word on the extent of the driver’s injuries, but bystanders expressed hope that they are not serious.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
