Peetron Thomas, together with the Peetron Movement International Team, is proud to announce the return of the Noreen Mingo Christmas Initiative, a program honoring the life and legacy of Mrs. V. Noreen Mingo.
Mrs. Mingo, remembered as a mother, sister, aunt, friend, and a woman of the kitchen, dedicated her life to service and community.
She was one of the pioneering members of the organization, contributing through prison ministry, serving as a chaplain, leading community outreach programs, and supporting multiple initiatives within the organization.
Her commitment extended beyond the organization into faith-based service. Mrs. Mingo was an active member of the Parham Seventh-day Adventist Church, and in her earlier years, she contributed significantly to the Church of God of Prophecy.
Her roles within these communities reflected her deep dedication to uplifting others and fostering spiritual growth.
Since her passing in October 2020, the initiative was launched in December 2020 to continue her legacy. For over five years, the program has supported families and individuals in need, and this year’s initiative aims to be larger, brighter, and more impactful than ever.
This year’s activities include:
Soup Kitchen Service – providing nourishment and warmth to those in need
Food Package Distribution – supporting families across the community
“Each Christmas, Mrs. Mingo could be counted on to provide a plate of food, a warm smile, and a helping hand. Her legacy continues to feed, uplift, and inspire,” said Peetron Thomas.
