Shaw is accused of killing 20-year-old Saquania Anthony and attempting to murder 24-year-old Kelvin Samuel and 13-year-old Joshua Meade. All three are from Bathlodge.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at a residence at about 11:30 p.m. on September 21 and found Anthony unresponsive with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. She was later pronounced dead.
Samuel and Meade were also shot and taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment.
According to preliminary police findings, several people were inside the home when three masked intruders reportedly forced their way in and fired several rounds.
Shaw was arrested as police intensified their investigation. He is expected to appear in court this week. Investigations are continuing, and police have thanked the public for its assistance and cooperation.
