The Halo Foundation is continuing its free eye care programme for a third year, providing comprehensive eye examinations and prescription glasses to children, the elderly and other vulnerable residents across Antigua and Barbuda.
Halo Eye Care Initiative
The Future Bright with the Gift of Sight Eye Care Initiative is being delivered in partnership with Progressive Vision, with support from the Embassy of Switzerland in Antigua and Barbuda.
Since its introduction, the programme has assisted more than 300 people who may otherwise have faced financial barriers to accessing proper eye care.
The Foundation said the initiative remains focused on ensuring that people in need are able to receive quality vision care regardless of their financial circumstances.
Founder and President of the Halo Foundation, Her Excellency Lady Williams, expressed appreciation to the Embassy of Switzerland for recognising the importance of the programme and investing in the wellbeing of people in Antigua and Barbuda.
The Foundation also thanked Dr Salem Zreibi and the team at Progressive Vision for their continued partnership and professional expertise.
According to the Foundation, the team’s commitment to providing high-quality eye care has been instrumental in the programme’s success and has helped ensure that beneficiaries receive compassionate and dedicated service.
The Foundation hopes to reach even more individuals and families requiring eye care during this year’s programme.
