Striker Troy Jules recorded what is called a “Haul-trick” in football terminology when he hit the back of the net seven times to lead Pigotts Bullets to an eight-nil triumph over West Ham in the Parham Super League (PSL) on Wednesday.
Jules, who represents Dominica at the international level, had strikes in the 20th, 28th, 50th, 56th, 59th, 64th and 70th minutes to help fire Bullets into the semifinals round of the competition at the Parham playing field. Akeem Isaac had given Bullets the lead with a strike in the 15th minute.
Bullets will face Garden Stars in second semifinals clash on Friday at 7:30 pm while Potters Tigers and Freeman’s Village Scorpions will meet in the opening match starting at 6:00 pm.
Meanwhile, Parham FC recorded a 3-1 victory over Glanvilles FC in Wednesday’s feature match-up.
Denie Henry opened the scoring for Parham in the 15th minute before Jahvante Harriette made it two-nil in the 45th minute. Former national striker, Tevaughn “Peter Redz” Harriette, rounded off Parham’s scoring in the 57th minute. Jayquanie Nanton scored the lone goal for Glanvilles with a close range effort in the 65th minute.
