Stingerz defeated All Saints Slam by 62 points in a 140–78 victory when Division 1 action continued at the JSC Sports Complex on Thursday night.
They set the tone early and never eased up, pouring in 35 points in the opening quarter and maintaining that intensity throughout all four periods. Jaheem James produced a sensational display, exploding for 55 points on an efficient 25-of-36 shooting, while also contributing 11 assists and eight steals in a commanding all-around effort. He was well supported by Daquan Williams, who added 28 points off the bench, and Joshua Minner and Humroy Wright, who chipped in 21 points each.
For All Saints Slam, Takeem Martin led with 26 points, while Andrew Daigle added 21 and Anjis Anthony contributed 10. However, inefficiency plagued the team, particularly from Winston Roberts, who went scoreless despite 14 attempts. Slam struggled to keep pace offensively and were unable to contain the relentless Stingerz attack.
Earlier in the evening, JSC Red Hawks secured a convincing 119–66 victory over Navigators in another one-sided encounter.
Red Hawks controlled the game from the outset, outscoring Navigators in every quarter behind a balanced and efficient offensive showing. Bryce Smith led the way with 31 points and a dominant 25-rebound performance, while Kymani Powell added 30 points and David Mubagwa chipped in 25. Andre Burnett orchestrated the offense with 12 assists to go along with his 18 points.
Navigators struggled offensively, shooting just 24 percent from the field. Beniah Mark led the team with 20 points but required 37 shots to get there, while Tyreke Lewis added 16.
Despite a strong rebounding effort led by Michael Barton with 22 boards, Navigators could not overcome their shooting woes and turnovers. Division 2 action will resume on Saturday evening with Cedar Grove Gunners matching up against Fearless Crew in the first match while Old Road Daggers will battle Ovals.
