The body found in St. John’s near the State Insurance Corporation on May 10th,2017 has been identified.
Lawmen say the remains are that on Shawn Henry, 41, of Gray’s Farm.
He was found in an abandoned building in a partial state of decomposition.
Police PRO Inspector Frankie Thomas told Antigua News Room that investigations into the discovery are ongoing.
The man’s body was found by neighbours who were alerted by the foul smell. Some media reports described him as a vagrant, as he would commonly frequent abandon buildings.
The death is being treated by police as suspicious but not a homicide at this time.
